I can smoke weed, drive over the speed limit and have sex in public and the police will let me off because I am a white man.

Dating prospects

Turns out that the statistics from all these dating sites are true. I get emails from dating sites saying they need some more white men. We will attract so many women from different backgrounds to the site which is good for business apparently. Women contact me all the time saying. Omg your white skin is so awesome make babies with me. Minorities wanting my good hair genes is regular business for me. Its no big deal really.

Everywhere I go I get all sorts of courteous behavior because I am a white man. People at the movies say oh hey man here's a discount for building civilization. I'm like thanks man its my pleasure.

POC women want me

I signed up after getting numerous emails for a hired dating type of thing. They said they needed some more white men because they were highly in demand with their diverse minority customer base. Its nice to see I can make these women's dreams come true. They are so disadvantaged. It makes me feel really good these women can spend their hard earned money on me. It makes them feel so much better.

People are so nice because I use proper speech

People treat me so respectfully for talking in a proper and nice manner. An extended vocabulary and a nice articulate accent go a long way. Its how I was raised in my white family really. The words roll of my tongue real nicely. I am always courteous saying sorry, thank you and please.

Minorities want to be my friends all the time

I am the white friend to minorities. I treat them with respect and they get more respect all round because they have me as white friend. Thats good advertising for them.

You must be 'whiter' than most white people cuz while I see class privilege, I have never seen race privilege. This isn't the 1950s. Today, it doesn't matter what color you are, you can only count on your privileges if you have the money to back it up.
I get the bitterness that some people have because they think someone's color gives them a benefit. But that isn't true. Nothing could be further from the truth. For example, who has it better? A rich colored person or a poor white person? Who do you think people will prefer to keep company with? So no, there is no such thing as white privilege.

If the rich were white and the poor were black, and welfare originally prioritized poor white families... Wouldn't that mean that poor whites got help and poor black people didn't? Wouldn't that mean... There's a reason black people are disproportionately poor?

Actually, no. If wealth wasn't passed through generations, people of color wouldn't be overrepresented in poverty. If the rates of poverty were proportionate to each demographic's population, you'd have a point. Its not.

If there are a 100 million white people in poverty and 10% of them live in poverty that is 10 million right there, whereas if there are 10 million colored people who represent even 50% in poverty. That is 5 million. Still less than those white people. If you're talking about numbers, whites are the majority in America. Its inane to assume that minorities are overrepresented. Its propaganda by the ear, 'make an oppressor', 'blame them for your own problems'. So and so forth. Something BLM excels at doing.

If white people are 70% of the population, why aren't they 70% of the poor? It would make sense for most poor people in the US to be white, simply because there's more of them. But the actual percentage of poor people who are white is more like 10%.

Black people make up about 10% of the population. If class wasn't influenced by race, black people would make up 10% of the poor population. The actual number is closer to 28%. When I said overrepresented, I meant IN PROPORTION TO THE TOTAL POPULATION, because that's how that works. You can't just look at the numbers without context.

@TeaMoney did you comprehend what you just said? A fraction of the minority might seem like a large number but even significant figure of the majority looks considerably small. Even if the numbers are similar. For instance, even if 10% of the 250 million or so white Americans are poor that's 25 million people right there. 28% of the 30 million black people is about 9.3 million. The numbers are already disproportionate. And yes poverty exists with respect to population as a whole, but as a demographic? How would that prove anything? Survey for wealth is based chiefly on education and occupation.

So what you're trying to say is that proportions don't matter because when you ignore proportions, numerically there's more poor white people so that's all that matters? That is not, nor has it ever been, how poverty is measured. That's like saying one person living off $40k a year and a family of 10 living off $40K a year are both well off because they technically have the same amount of money. Which makes no fucking sense.
