Why do people always stare at me in public?

I've noticed wherever I go a lot of people look at me - both male and female. Eg. When I walk into a cafe I see at least a few people watching me as they sit at their table having their conversation. They look away when I look but always look back. As I am eating I look around and at least a few people still looking who again look away but look back when I'm not looking lol.

Same thing happens at doctor waiting rooms, shopping centres, train stations, on trains, buses etc.

They don't seem to have any expression on their face, simply just watching. They don't do it to other people that I can see.
