Girls, what do you do if some girl called your boyfriend cutie, sexy, babe?

Question

What do you do? Just ignore it? Get mad at the girl and talk to her? Get mad at your man for continuing talking with that girl (a friend you don't know or some girl you just met at a party/online, etc) .

I really get mad at the both of them personally. But I'm more at the girl but I still have to put blame on my boyfriend for still talking to the girl (if they just met) or if their friends and she can call him babe, sexy, cutie, etc.

I went out to dinner with the guy I had been seeing. We had a really nice dinner and were seated next to an attractive couple who we later saw when we went down the street for drinks. She waved to us and so we went and chatted with them. They were nice, funny and chatty, and I honestly enjoyed their company and had a good time talking to them. I could tell he was attracted to her, and I guess she could too, because she put her hand on his knee twice! UGH! With her guy sitting right there! WTF?

Of course I was aware of it and I am sure J picked up on that. But her guy was casual, cool and confident and didn't even react to it, so I decide to do the same and I am so glad. I didn't need to worry about anyone flirting - even that blatantly - he was with me. J also did nothing to encourage nor discourage it. But the second time she did it, J also did nothing and just played it off, but when she moved her hand, he leaned back and put his arm around me. That was SOOOO awesome! I didn't need to say a word.

So, what's the point? I stayed cool, classy and confident and gave it zero attention. Had I said a word or gotten uptight about it, I would have come across as insecure and jealous. Also, I wouldn't have had a chance to see him make the decision of showing he wanted to be with me - this is KEY! Also, I think he was impressed that I was aware of it but didn't phase on it, so he dealt with it and showed me a lot in just that one move of putting his arm around me. I am so glad I let that happen. I was extra sweet to him that night after they left!

Was I p*ssed that I noticed he was attracted to her? I don't mind him looking. I thought her guy was hot and maybe he picked up on that too. It's natural to notice attractive people. Was I secretly worried that he thought she was hotter than me? Well yeah. Was I p*ssed at her for putting her hand on his knee? F*CK yeah! While I was sitting right there?!?! Twice?! And she was definitely flirting too. I am so glad I didn't give her the satisfaction and ego boost of reacting to it. Was I a bit p*ssed at him for flirting with her initially? I must admit, yes, but he TOTALLY redeemed himself and it was because I gave him a chance.

My point is if you react, you won't have a chance to see if you matter enough to him that he'll choose you.

So what if J hadn't done that and had been a cad about it and kept flirting with her or worse? I would still be proud of the way I handled myself. I also would have ended the evening without a word about it and not spoken to him again. I am also classy cool and secure enough to know that I don't need to waste my time on the kind of douchebag that can't even handle a monogamous evening of dinner and drinks with me. Let him have her... and see where it gets him when she does that with some other guy when she is out with him.

She may have looked hotter, but I turned out to be more attractive by being more classy and secure - and I didn't have to say a word.

If the guy and girl are friends then it should be strictly platonic and not flirty.  She is openly flirting with him by call him "sexy, babe etc."  If I was you, I would be mad and concerned as well.  I would not talk to the girl but to your boyfriend.  I think he is entitled to have female friends but he needs to learn where to draw the line.  I think you need to consider telling him that you don't mind him having female friends.  However, it concerns you when she starts flirting and there might be room for temptation.  In this approach, you're telling him your concerns and giving him the opportunity to take control of the issue.  If he doesn't talk to this girl and remind her that he has a girlfriend then I think he will need to make a choice.  Either cease contact with her to save his relationship with you or you walk away. If he loves, cares and respects you then the remedy should be simple.

I wouldn't be thrilled, but I trust my boyfriend. If the girl didn't know yet that he had a girlfriend I'm more forgiving about the situation. It happens. If she was fully aware and was trying to flirt with my boyfriend I would be annoyed. More so because I don't have much respect for women who try to steal and seduce a man who is already in a committed relationship. But I wouldn't go so far as to have a talk with her unless it was a continuous thing, like every time we met  up with her she'd be all over him. I wouldn't blame my boyfriend though. I expect other girls will find him attractive. I do, so why wouldn't others? I know we love each other and are devoted to each other, so I don't worry about him reciprocating any advances. Except I wouldn't hid my feelings from him and I would let him know if I was feeling uncomfortable with a situation and we'd talk about it.

don't take it out on the guy, that's not fair to him. he would probably take it as a compliment, and if he likes her in a friendly way, then he'll continue to talk with her, but he already has a girlfriend. why would he he do anything with her when he's got you; plus, he didn't initiate it! It might make him angry that you would be mad at him because of a compliment from someone.

To punish the boyfriend for it is just plain wrong.  He doesn't control what she does, and to take it out on him in ANY way might find your ass kicked to the curb.  Lots of men won't stand for that drama.

What you should do is calmly talk to your boyfriend about her.Tell him your not making accusations and be careful that you don't or all it will do is make him defensive and cause a fight.Tell him that it bothers you when this girl calls him those names and you would like to know why she calls him those name?.

Relationships need communication but you have to be careful how you go about this discussion or it will turn into accusations and lead to huge fight which will not solve anything.

Don't get mad,it doesn't solve anything.Most likely the girl is just innocently flirtatious type that doesn't realize she is going over the line.

hell yeah! you doing the right thing! that exactly what I would do. I mean id beat the girls' ass for talking to my boyfriend like that! or id tell her "bitch he isn't yours so back the f*** of you stupid whore". then id have a discussion with my boyfriend about it and tell him calmly that I don't want him talking to her anymore and that if she tries to then to tell her to f*** off or go away or tell me if she keeps trying.  and if he refuses to drop her from his life, then you give him a choice. you tell him that its either you or the girl he's not dating.

There is nothing wrong with another girl calling my boyfriend cut or babe. As long as you trust your boyfriend that he will not cheat on you, don;t worry about it. Feel proud that other girls find him attractive, but he is with you. Don't get mad at other girls. If it really bother you talk to him about it.

I never understood why girls always get more mad at the other girl. if anything you should be more mad at your boyfriend seeing as he's in a relationship with you and is supposed to have loyalty to you.  The other girl could give a sh*t less about you, your man is the one who is supposed to care.  Now if she kept trying him then that's when you confront her but he is the one who should handle the situation and let her know he has a gf.  He is the one who should let her know what is appropriate since he is the one she talks to.
