How to lose weight?
give views other then exercise..?
I've lost 40 lbs since the spring by changing my eating habits, so I think I might be able to offer something on the matter.
Cut out the sodium, which means eat fresh everything you can (nothing from a can, box, or jar unless you have no choice, and nothing frozen either). The reason for this is because everything that's prepackaged has high sodium added as a preservative and sodium leads to both water retention (a big part of weight gain) and high blood pressure.
Drink lots of water (at least 2 liters a day) and don't drink anything else if you can avoid it. That means NO SODA!
Start out your day with a bowl of that flavored oatmeal & a piece of fruit such as a banana.
If you're going to snack, ONLY snack on fresh fruit or vegetables. No chips or anything like that. (Bananas have become my best friend)
For lunch eat sandwiches using low fat, low sodium meats from your deli (I use low sodium turkey & low sodium ham since they're both naturally low fat), and switch from regular bread to flatbread, making them wraps, if you can.
For dinner, experiment with various recipes involving either fish, boneless/skinless chicken breasts, and lean (the 95% lean kind--nothing less will do) ground beef. Just be sure not to cook them in oil or add anything that contains a lot of calories or sodium. I've been making burritos & other things that are very tasty, filling, and low salt/low fat.
Finally, DO NOT EAT LATE AT NIGHT! You should ALWAYS allow yourself at least 4 hours (more if you can help it) in between the time you eat your last meal of the day and going to bed. ALWAYSclassy's advice about not eating after 6pm is fine if you're on a normal schedule but if you're a night owl or (like me) don't even get home from work until about 6:30pm, it's ok to do it later. Just remember to leave yourself 4 hours or longer between food and bed.
The only other option short of surgery would have to be a change in diet. A decrease in weight only comes about by a calorie deficit. The only two ways to get a calorie deficit are to either take in less by eating less or expending more by exercise.
Easy! 1st - Excercise don't make you lose weight, 2nd - you have to understand how your body works i.e. how you gain weight. You gain weight when the level of sugar in your blood is high, you organism reacts by producing insulin that transforms that excess of sugar into fat. That why if you eat a chocolate bar of 300Kcal your sugar goes up very quickly, your body reacts and transforms it, when you eat a salad of 300Kcal your sugar stay as it is (may be a bit higher because of oil, eggs, cheese, etc), no transformation. That is the Glycemic or Glycaemic index notion: bread, sugar, potatoes, etc have the highest GI. BTW, your body does not need pure (refined) sugar; fruit sugar (glucose) is enough to give us energy.
You want to lose weight - eat the food with the low GI: meat, fish, egg, nuts, vegetables, avoid fruits and dairy products in the evening (fruits contain glucose, milk contain lactose which are forms of sugar). And here link
However, pay attention to quantities and you need to eat all kind of foods, with a lot of meat, veggies, fruits and nuts.

Lifting weights builds muscle. That will make you heavier.
Doing cardio (running, biking, swimming) will burn a lot more fat than it will produce muscle. So yes, you should do cardio.
i'm in the process of losing weight and before I started I hated exercising, mostly because I hate the thought of sweating I think its gross. But when you start you realize how different it makes you feel. You'll have so much more energy. I also do things I like to make it more appealing to me, like dancing, swimming etc.
but if that is really unthinkable to you just cut down on bread, all the gross junk(twinkles, donuts, pizza.etc)drink a lot of water and eat smaller portions. The main thing is you can't think of it as a diet, and it won't work unless you truly want it.
Dont think of it as a diet. Since your a guy you probably like sports... get some of your friends together and play football or something . Do something you enjoy with friends and it won't feel like exercising

What I've learned, no matter how hard it may be at first, you HAVE to exersise to stay healthy. Afterwards, you feel so much better, and it definitely makes a difference. Also, the second part of it is eat in small portions, and eat healthy foods. especially FRUITS and VEGGIES. Stay away from fatty foods, and if you can't help yourself, only eat a handful. With eating out at restaurants, get a salad or low-fat meal, and don't supersize things. Also, drink lots and lots of water! Seems like pretty simple information, but it makes a difference! :D
man I love these questions lol

B. Becoming more activie brings you to a better body. Evaltor or Stairs?. Choose the Stairs once in a while
C. Pick up a sport if you havent, if sports aren't your thing then hit the gym, don't know what to do at the gym?, google some workouts, maybe workout at home,
D. I'm subscribled to men's health , they always give you great workouts to whatever body your looking for and what foods are good and bad for you.

Why why why, would you, your sexy size what to lose weight?!
you are a f***ing sexy solid guy.
i would never choose a stick with abbs over a solid guy with no abbs.
you are perfect. perfect. perfect. perfect!
Omg! Some people call me fat, but I'm comfortable with my 145pound self to say f*** off.
look, you wana be thin, go run off, exercise til you resemble a 12 year old boy. I would definitely not look twice at you.
Well besides exercise and walking places, you could just try to replace all ur drinks with water and that should help.
I know that it's basically the same thing as excercize, but my freshman year of college, I actually slimmed down because I was always going to the mall, and I started my first job as a bagger at a grocery store. That's just the way to go. I enjoyed it, and it didn't feel like a chore or a pain. You're getting a mini workout while you're having fun.
If you don't wanna exercise then just stick your finger down your throat or stop eating altogether. If you wanna do it the healthy way then exercise. Not only will you lose weight but you might put on some muscles or tone up. I know gaining a rockin bod is an awful side effect, but its the best and healthy way. Pills don't work and diets usually fail, especially for guys. Eating 1500 calories of sugarless carb free foods is no way to enjoy life. Just keep it in moderation and work out. I suggest balance of cardio and weightlifting
By decreasing weight.. You're talking about losing fat right?
If you want to do that.. You'll have to decrease your caloric intake (eat less than you usually do), eat more healthier foods (lay off the junk, eat more fruits, vegetables, whole wheats, lean meats), drink more water..
and do more cardio (like running) exercises.
eat every two hours to boost ur metabolism and blood sugar level
eat oatmeal in the AM and lean meats in the PM some fruit also
gotta do the exercise coolmaaz so:
then do cardio everyday of the week for 30 minutes each session at like a 4.5 pace with a 5 incline on the treadmill have to get ur heartrate to 60% of ur maximum heart rate which is 220 minus ur age
then work out 3x a week do some upper body some lower body and some ab exercises do lots of reps with less weight to lose weight and get a define body
Don't eat after 6
Change your diet, mostly eat lean meats fruits and vegetables
Don't drink your calories, only drink water and green tea
Drink green tea- boosts your metabolism
Take biotin supplements
Watch what you eat, decrease your portion sizes and excersise. Also instead of eating 3 big meals you are suposed to eat 5 small meals instead. Drink lots of water and eat your recomended portions of fruit and vegis. Good luck!
Eat way less carbs. Stop sugars, sodas, and most snacks. A simple change in diet to healthier foods can do a lot. No pizzas, subs, or any other fast food.
Don't think of excercise as bad, get the guys together and play foot ball everyday, ride a bike, take walks. it shouldnt be difficult. excercise is the best, funnest way of losing weight,
drink lots of coffee to supress your appetite. eat oatmeal, it keeps you full. and eat egg whites. that's it.
Coffee is not good for you. Drink water.
Oatmeal is a good idea. Just don't add 45 pounds of sugar to every bowl.
Eat fruits and vegetables. If you are looking to lose weight, eggs put on a good amount of calories.
I never heard of adding sugar to oatmeal?
and eggs are less than 100 calories each. if you hardboil them and only eat the egg whites, ur good. plus, lean protein ( chicken eggs fish) not only make you feel full and give you energy, it also helps speeding up ur metabolism.
drink 2 gallons of water a day, and lots of abdominal exersises
eating mainly vegies, eating fiber, green tea, guarana, CLA etc
eat meals spreaded out, instead of 3 full meals eat 6 light meals.
I've lost around 100lbs. What I did is cut out starches and sugar. I also exercise regularly with weights.
what do you have against exercise?
That doesn't answer the question, why are you opposed to exercising?
dieting works to an extent, green tea works kind of, but not really. but you can't stay on a diet forever and once you stop dieting and start eating normally again or slacken the diet, you'll gain the weight back unless you're exercising.
Not necessarily if it's such a bad word to you lol. you can jog outside (kinda hard when it gets really cold) you can take up spin classes, or pilates, power yoga, bike riding. anything that'll get your heart rate up. I personally just go to the gym for a few hours per week. I used to go around 12 hours per week when I was really trying to lose weigh, now I'm trying to maintain. by eating well and exercising.
Eat less, move more.
