You deserve better and this is why well... Where I live we date to see who we are compatible with. There is a difference between dating and sleeping around though
Very informative, but I can tell from the title alone the reason you were right to break up with him. Nobody should have to suffer abuse in a relationship!

He wanted to make sure he wasn't dating a slut. What's abnormal about that. Any self respecting guy would get that out front. Women nowadays are sluts and feminists. Men have to be on the lookout.
In my opinion, people that over compliment are often not genuine and are looking to use you. Also, people that have a past of casual sex are often not the type to be exclusive long term.
It seems like you have to question everyone's motives. You tell other people and if they point things out then either they don't want to see you happy, secretly want to get with you, or they actually do care.
You were only seeing the guy for two weeks yet you're posting as if you've been with the guy for years. Seek therapy sis this is not normal you have major attachment issues.
You call that "abuse?" Sounds more like you just want the attention from some manufactured drama. If the guy actually exists (which I doubt) then he is lucky to be rid of you before you start shitting in his bed.
I don't see him as being abusive. More like you have been brainwashed by feminism where anything a man says or does can be misinterpreted as being abusive or controlling.

He sounds like an absolute asshole. I wouldn't have broken up with him, I would have arranged for his disappearance.
Good for you. I love it that you took actions to protect and respect yourself.

@itsalyssaagain I might've put it in slightly kinder terms but... you talked to a guy for a couple weeks and... yeah.
Exactly it's creepy. If a guy posted this they'd call him creeper or psycho @nachosaresexy
Suck your mum
I don't understand how was he abusive. He may have asked a few questions you didn't like, but that is hardly abuse.

Nothing wrong with those questions. No abuse by asking them. You must be a total mental case.
I would have read all of this, but then you put in a trigger warning.
I’m not going to read something from a writer who is afraid to offend.
Cheers.
I’m a writer has cares about my readers feelings lol
Yeah…religious cultures harbor the vast majority of these guys. And protects them. Mormon, Amish even Shinto have these issues.
I’m not sure why women choose to join a religious culture.

You did the RIGHT thing !!! He was not meant for you, Good Luck for the next time and next Date !
Lol where's the abuse? he sounds like a wiener but there was no abuse..
I really glad you found the red flgas- god knows what could've happened to you! stay safe sis <33
those might be weird questions, sure, but what else did he do?
Today's men should be disowned. Today's women deserve abuse. I think we need a mass human divorce.
It's good you managed to get out of the abusive relationship.
