Well you would too if you were gonna get free money in the process.
It is because women are drama lama's and men just go with the flow.
probably because the man doesn't care to go through all that trouble for someone he's no longer in love with.

because they're smart and realize marriage is only to get rich quick and for foolish men
Guys deal with unhappiness better then girls do. Women get too worked up over little things that bottle up into big things.
Cause they are the ones with the problems... Usual they are the trouble makers. Don't kill me know I'm just speaking the truth.
Because usually the guy has no idea that things were that bad between the two of them.
I don't try to understand them... its different and its sad.
Men are used to the feeling of being unloved, so we're able to put up with it for longer.
Well I think ladies feel as though they did the guy a favor by marrying him so it's like "HOW DARE YOU CHEAT ON ME?"
Which why where most men are concerned the whole idea of marriage in and of itself is pretty much doomed for the most part and I know I wouldn't get married. Marriage equals profanity in my book.
It's not always the women. My guy friend divorced his wife because she cheated on him.

It's called solipsism and hypergamy.

"Hypergamy" is a misnomer. They're practically never trading up, as hyper- would imply. Maybe 0.5 percent of the time... if that.
Mostly, it's "I'm bored" or "I'm frustrated", which is the chopped-n-screwed version of what is actually "I need to submit to someone". Which they just totally do not realize, and which many of them would deny all the way to the grave.
@redeyemindtricks oh, I know they aren't 'actually' trading up. But they've convinced themselves they can do better. Then they convince themselves that they are doing better.
Those are the lucky ones, the ones that are actually that good at self-delusion.
Most of the time, it doesn't even get that far. It's a chase that never ends, because the thing they're chasing isn't actually a thing. Like I wrote, in that comment, down there.

@redeyemindtricks for a man it's about trying to find one that isn't as crazy. Which, as anyone who's been around at all knows, is a fool's errand.
The good news is that men become more able to think rationally about these things as their hormones wane, and women are putting off settling down well into the age where men can finally think with their big head... so things may start looking up for our species.

Anyway, I was highlighting reality. Women are putting off having children while getting an education and in so doing, are putting themselves right in the age bracket where men can more clearly think about self interest.
Maybe they love money more than men!!
