Is 'I need time for myself' equal to 'take a break'?

Boyfriend told me that he wanted to be with me but right now he just needed time for himself...
After that I sent him couple texts and he texted back like "I know I said we were gonna talk today but I don't feel quite ready"

I asked him if he wanted us to take a break but he said no..

Yeah that was the last text from him..

In my opinion, there's no difference between 'I need time for myself' and 'take a break'

What you guys think?

I guess it depends. It probably means I want a few days of nothing to decide if I want to take a break or not.

The point is... He should be back before I decide to stop everything... I mean before I can't stand it anymore🙄

Well do u happen to know what he’s going through? Or is this just something out of the blue?

He just realized that I have to move to another city in April and he didn't know what to do. Right now we meet once per 7-10 days.. and I told him after I move I can visit maybe every 2-3 weeks.

I’m sure that’s what’s getting to him. He prob wants to sort stuff out?
He’s not going to see u very much and that makes a relationship tough

It could be (that I had thought it as well) but I guess it won't be problem for me /he has friends and family here.. and I'm foreinger, no friends, no family..
And for year that we are together I never had some behavior that he could worry about

Yeah and I suggest that we should talk to each other and find the way out... He just.. wanted his time alone.. /
