My ex-fiancé called me last night after finding out I was seeing someone new. Is he still not over me?

My ex-fiancé and I broke up back in June, so it's only been about four months since. I recently started seeing someone, but it's only been a couple of weeks, so it's really nothing serious. I still don't even think I'm ready to date seriously yet, as I'm still hurt over my ex.

I have my ex's brother on Facebook and Snapchat, and on Thursday night I posted a photo with my new guy. It was a cute photo and it definitely looked like we were an item. Later on that night, around 12am, my ex called me out of the blue, after not talking to me since August 24th. I didn't even have a chance to get a word in and then he went completely off on me.

He basically said that he never wants to talk to me again and that he wishes I was dead. He just started flipping on me, and, like I said, I could not get a word in. After his rant, he told me that if I ever contact him, he's going to get the police involved and then hung up on me.

He's never flipped out on me like that before. I'm assuming his brother told him I was seeing someone new?

This seems strange. If you broke up in June, why were you still taking in August? What did you talk about? Did you leave an impression that you may get back together? His actions indicate that he thought you wanted to reconcile at some point. Than he saw the facebook pic and lost it. I would advise you go for a clean break and just end contact. There is a reason he is your ex-fiancé and I doubt those reasons have changed.

When we talked in August he said we were not getting back together and that I needed to move on... so I've been trying. I did tell him that I still loved him and what not, but like I said, he seemed pretty adamant that we weren't getting back together. He told me he still had feelings for me as well and that he had a lot of regrets, but there was no talk about us getting back together. He also said that we couldn't talk anymore after that, so we haven't been other than when he called me Thursday night.

This sounds like a really messy break up. I would do some soul searching to determine what you want. And give him a call where you calmly explain your decision. I think you guys either need to get back together or go your separate ways. If you go your separate ways cut contact, unfriend him on facebook, etc.

Still not over you? Based on what you said he did, I would say no.

The next thing I would do is remove him and ANY of his friends/family from ALL social media accounts. Ex's and ex's for a reason, and generally once they're in that category, its best to avoid all contact with them as much as possible.

We broke up because he got cold feet and needed "space" for a while to figure things out. At the time he had just accepted a new job offer across the country and I was supposed to be going with him. While he was away I ended up hooking up with someone he knew because I thought we were over and I was devastated. Anyway, he came back to me and still wanted to go forward with everything, but I was honest and told him what happened, and after that he was extremely upset and said he couldn't trust me and then we broke up for good. :/

I would ignore him. If you need to change your phone number. You do not need to be harassed like that for trying to move on and live your life. He broke up with you. He has no right to treat you like that.

you both sit together and talk to each other calmly. IF you both are still into each other then, something will automattically otherwise say to each other it is not to good to interuppt each other's life.

He's not normally like that, and like I said, the last time we spoke was weeks ago, so it's not common for us to converse. I think he's just really upset that I'm dating somebody new.

I'm not moved on, that's the issue. I still love him and care about him, but after our last talk in August where he specifically told me to move on and that we couldn't talk anymore, I decided to put him in the past and try things out with someone new.

It's only been two weeks since I started seeing the new guy I\m casually dating, and like I said, it's NOT serious at all yet -- I still have no idea if I'm even capable of being with someone else right now.
