Its an easy answer. Because they still have feelings. There are different motives for these feelings. For some its because they miss your sex. Especially if there wasn't a condom used. A guy can still sense the pleasure of how you feel even after a breakup. Its intense to lose that.

It could be they like you as a person but are desiring someone physically hotter. You are a backup plan.

Or it could be they truly love you but lost attraction. So they dumped you.
