Finally got the courage to leave him after he cheated on me. When I told him he didn’t even care. Any suggestions on how feel better?

I broke up with my ex for cheating on me. This is the 2nd time I caught him (I know I should’ve left the first time but I loved him) Anyway this time I got the courage to leave. However When I showed him PROOF of him cheating again, he laughed it off I told me “you’ve been just waiting for the day to come so you could leave”. Not even an apology anything. It just makes me sorta sad cause we’ve been together for almost 3 years. And I honestly wanted things to work. I blocked him but seen on my sisters social media that he was posting with his friends showing off their money, jewelry etc. It’s like this isn’t even affecting him. I decided to take a social media break for now to feel better. Any other suggestions to forget about him and feel better?

It’s kinda weird. Because he is always the one telling me how much he loves and cares about me. And talks about our future all the time. We’ve been having a rough time this past week, but nothing too bad. And then when I brought this to him yesterday.. he’s like a completely new person who doesn’t care.

You must recognize the great disconnect between his words and his true feelings. Obviously, he is dishonest and a manipulator.

Well, this situation sounds better than him wanting to have you back now that you have left him and creating more drama. You know he doesn't want you, you know he cheated on you when you were with him and you know he doesn't care about you.
How can you let such kind of a person bother you anymore?
