Will I still be able to heal from an abusive ex-girlfriend?

Anonymous
So what happened was, I broke up with my girlfriend because she cheated on me for the second time. I forgave her the first time because I wanted to change for her and I even swallowed my pride, but months later, she cheated on me again. She had intercourse with another guy and the moment I found out, I talked to her about how hurt I was when she cheated again.

I decided to break up with her since I realized she was just gaslighting me as to why she cheated for the second time, her reason was that the guy is financially stronger than me and that he can buy her what she wants. I've had enough of her excuse so I immediately ended the relationship. But after that, she physically abused me by hitting me with a fire extinguisher and she struck me with a lampshade too. She also laughed at me while I was crying over the pain caused by her assault. Her last words were "You'll never find another girlfriend again mofo!".

I've been treated at the clinic already but when I see my bruises, I miss her. How do I make her feel sorry she mistreated me?
