NO. As a matter of fact, that did happen to me before and I refused to stay friends with him.

The last guy I dated cheated on me. The next day, he insisted we stay friends... after he cheated on me. I was like, "Really? So I'm not good enough to date you, but you want to stay friends with me?"
I blocked, deleted, and removed all traces of him so I could get over him and move with my life. And that's okay! You don't have to be the "better person" and stay friends with someone that hurt you- especially if you need to heal and get over them.
