Hey Guys, should I block my ex?

My ex and I have a bit of a confusing relationship as of right now. We're more distant acquaintances anyway. For a while now, he's been hanging out with the girl that he initially chose me over. Ever since the breakup he immediately went back to her and she gladly took him in with open arms. I'm not going to lie, I'm kind of competitive by nature, and it's not that I really want him back but I just hate the fact that she thought she 'won'. Anyways... My ex likes to talk to me in person when he gets the chance and musters up the courage; however, I'm the one to reach out through text if need be. He's not a huge texter, never was, but he seems extra distant which I totally understand, he definitely keeps staring at me which is weird, especially when he's around her. I don't know what this means and I want to move on 100%, I tried blocking him but I don't want him getting the wrong impression because we made amends. Guys, What should I do?

I would say that maybe you should talk with him and explain that you think its better each one follow your own path, it will not be a easy conversation, but maybe will be a good option since with this it will not looks like you are blocking him for nothing as well as it will be somehow respectful with him. The only situation I would say to just block someone without talk about why you want to follow your own path and things like that is if it was for something like cheating for example.
