Last time mine was completely broken it took about half a year before it stopped hurting all the time...
It sucks big time.
So just be kind to yourself.
It's kind of like loosing someone to death.
It's the same kind of grief.
And it might always be there at some level.
But it stops dominating your life after a while when you allow others things to fill your life with meaning.

You need to shift your focus to another goal. Say fitness for example and write down what you want to achieve. Then, every day commit to a work out and a run and as the focus shifts to this and you build up days, time will help you heal the wound and get your mind on something else.

There’s no set time amount to get over someone. It can take weeks, months or years. Best thing you can do is focus on yourself, practice self care, do what makes YOU happy. No matter how long it takes to mend a broken heart, aslong as you love yourself and take care of yourself, you’ll be okay. You should always be your main priority.
It takes time. It’s not easy breaks ups never are but it’ll slowly get better within time. Focus on letting it out right now that’s the first step through healing, take some time off from things, do things that make you happy and find yourself again.

only time will tell. But as long as you’re not letting go of what hurt you, you will not be whole again…
That happened to me when I was 20 and I still haven't completely recovered from it so when you find out please share with me :(
The best two ways i have found were to A find and date someone new. then you'll be thinking of them more... but if that doesn't work. take this time to immerse yourself into your hobbies more. or take up a new hobby. get into sowing or maybe take dance classes. try new things. you'll slowly and surely get over it at some point. one step at a time
I heard this on the radio today and actually sang along with it.

Focusing on your goals in life is the best way. Eventually the pain will subside. It doesn't feel like it now but I promise it gets better.

"How do you move on from a breakup?"
- Don't start a romantic relationship in the first place. How long does it take for it to stop hurting?
- After the last time it took 13 years.I do not have an answer to the question.
My first girlfriend broke my heart a few days before I turned 21.
I am 64 now. It still hurts. I loved her that much.
I never understood why people hurt over someone who doesn't even want them. Maybe that's the part that hurts...
To the best of my knowledge the only thing that repairs a broken heart is time that and a new romance
You focus on yourself. Be happy with yourself and your life. Once you have done that, you are ready to meet someone new.
Time. Time spent either alone or with friends and family. At least that's what men have to do. A lot of Women can just jump into a new relationship immediately and all is well for them.

Attraction and dating has more to do with subconsciouses and childhood experiences rather than the person you're supposedly dating. So in that respect, it really isn't about you.All you gotta do to keep strong is move along, move along, just like I know you do
You don’t. You adjust and live differently.
I've been through it so many times I am numb to any pain. I forgot what the pain feels like.
It's not easy, it just takes time to heal a broken heart. A broken heart doesn't heal overnight. My answer is time, it takes time to heal a broken heart.
Time, time heals. Stay away from certain music that can depress you. Laughter can help. Try not to overeat, I am a nervous eater. I was rejected many times. (frustration causes masturbation ask me how I know)
When you find someone who actually loves you and you can relate to.
Until then it will feel like a loss rather than a dodged bullet. You may not think it now but that broken heart will heal, try to focus on stuff in yourself, one day you will meet someone new that will fill that heart with joy again
