Mostly venting a bit, but I can’t be the only one. A girlfriend/girlfriend/date that was just another level of connection, not a believer in the “soulmate” crap but maybe an apt description.

Almost a year since I’ve talked to mine, far longer than we were together. Things were slow to start out, both kinda fucked up but once we had that connection I never doubted for a second I wanted to to spend my life with her, despite neither of us being in any place to be dating at all it was never difficult. Tried dating since but nobody has even come close to her. Kind of a defeating feeling

Yeah maybe not. For quite a while I certainly wasn’t, feel like I am now but just never met anyone like her before or since.
