Yess, my first ex kept chatting with girls sexually and I found out time and time again, sometimes through the girls themselves contacting me, and everytime he promised not to do it again. He kept gaslighting me in general and I suffered so hard, got really isolated etc. But I was so young, like 17, and it was my first ever relationship. I loved him so much and thought we would marry, honestly I wish I would've spent that love on someone who treated me kindly as this stuff can really disturb your view of relationships and love which I'm still sometimes having to work on. Finally, he cheated (having sex with a girl in the basement during a party that I attended as well) and confessed right after having coffee with my grandparents together. I broke up (and down lol) but still drove him home in my car after that, while crying so hard it was probably dangerous for me to drive. That fucking asshole, if I'd meet him again these days it would rather feel like meeting a dude that was mean to my little sister or daughter than myself, as I have grown and reflected so much and now really have a big protective instinct about my younger self. So I'd probably tell him a thing or two about his audacity back in the days.

Hmm nothing comes to mind but if it does cross a hard boundary, I always think to myself, was it intentional or unintentional? Depending on which determines my reaction. I usually park my feelings aside and try to understand how we got here, if it’s done with malicious or on purpose , I can’t see a way forward with that individual.
