Have you ever experienced your partner falling back from you, what did you do?

I've heard of some men not keeping their word when it comes to relationships like not texting like they used to... or wishing you a happy birthday or no more dates.. purposely not kissing you... purposely falling back. Why? What do you do when this happens. I've talked to my partner but all they say is well you stopped kissing me. So then im the only one putting in effort mostly. Is it time to break up?

Lack of communication will cause these problems in a relationship, why you both have to be open and honest with each other no matter what , and say what you need to say , instead of just assuming you know what your partner is going to say or think , because the truth is , you don’t , just like they can’t read your mind either. I ‘m curious as to why we aren’t kissing like we use to , or going on dates like we use to? Is everything ok? I was upset that you didn’t acknowledge my birthday? Did you forget? Is there something wrong? And then let them answer you without you jumping in. If he seems to be blowing smoke up your ass, then dump him , if he gives you a logical explanation, then hear him out. Most relationships fail because people assume the worst case scenario instead of actually giving their partner a chance to explain themselves. If your partner gets defensive and immediately points fingers at you , saying well you did this and you did that , then you are dating a narcissist that can’t take accountability for their own selfish behavior or actions , so yes dump them right then and there , but if your partner explains and says they are sorry , then that means they love and care about you and want to fix what is broken between you both.

What worked for me was practicing listening skills. When they tell you why they are frustrated ask them followup questions about why your behavior frustrates them. Listen to what they say and validate how they feel, they just want to be understood. Once yet listen to them once you start talking they will listen to you.
