We are separated but spending time together? What do you think about seeing each other after break up?

No not normal , considering he just likes the convenience of you , if he truly valued you , you would both still be in a relationship together and fixed what was broken , When someone needs space from you that’s a red flag that they are weighing their options but keeping you around for the convenience, the second they meet someone else they will leave you in the dirt , Why it’s best to value yourself worth and realize you deserve better than that , you deserve someone that will fight to be by your side and won’t walk away the same way you will do for them.

When I was younger most of my former long term gfs became friends plus, even while dating new guys. Even now 30 years later one routinely wants to hang out I keep declining. Back in Highschool I felt bad at first but then grew disillusioned because it was just sex with no emotional attachment.

When you say separated , you mean legally, were you married. If so I think that's the whole point of separating you'd be time to think she can work things out but that's not what you meant and you just met you broke up then when you did was then you discussion of trying to work things out I don't think there's anything wrong we trying to work things out but you should make sure that you're both on the same page as far as trying to work things out I'm using just trying to get laid one more time
