My ex seems to have moved on quickly or in the space of 4 months to be exact. I've been heartbroken for the whole time everyday is a tough day and my feelings for him are still there and I know they will always be.
He's got close to someone. An old friend let's say, and they seem to have gotten really close.
I feel like I didn't mean anything to him in some ways and my feelings are just all over the place 🥺
My head and heart are in pain.
Makes me feel worthless in so many ways that it's hard to put into words.

That's good you both are remaining friends somehow. So I guess that's a start.
I don't know how brokenhearted men react. I guess everyone is different.
I'm not wanting to move on completely nor do I want a relationship with anyone else and I'm perfectly fine with that.

So in my opinion it’s likely he had the new girl already lined up before he left you. It’s called monkey branching. So no him getting over you wasn’t quick, he had already started when you didn’t have a clue what was about to happen.

I’m not sure how long you two were together but if for quite a long time then it’s likely your relationship became stale and he started looking for something different/new. I think it’s very likely he will message you in the future when he realises the grass isn’t always greener on the other side.

I say this to everyone but now you need to work on yourself, workout, eat healthy, make lots of effort on making yourself look your best and make him regret leaving a girl like you. He will be stalking you every now and then to see how you’re doing, you’ll have your chance to show him the new you.

Also working on himself is a lame excuse for a breakup. Could have worked on himself while still being with you but he didn’t want to give you the true reason to spare your feelings
