The situation is I broke up with my year-long online partner which I've been overthinking after so many considerations. Even at the start of the relationship, he always lacks the initiative to make the relationship work out. Like, just talking will make the relationship stronger. In the end, I was the one who planned out our dates and everything.
At first, I tried to understand him, that he was just not used to this kind of thing, but I'm just the same as him, I'm not used to doing relationship stuff as well. What made me sad was sometimes, when I suggest a date idea, he would complain. The only thing he had to do was to participate, but he preferred to do the latter. This scenario went on until the end of the relationship. He never once initiated something, even if he did, it still came from my idea. He apologizes whenever he can which I forgave.
Admittedly, he wasn't the only one who has shortcomings, I had to. There were times that I can't help myself but be jealous because most if not all of his friends are of the opposite gender. And most of the accounts he followed on IG are NSFW eye candies. There were times that I was able to endure and accept it, but there were times that I just wanted to snap out.
