If my ex still loves me or if she ever did love me?

Met this girl at work a year ago. We started working together everyday. During the work day we had an amazing time but after work I was blocked. Judging from her difficult past I new it would be hard to show her that I actually loved and cared for her. Eventually she let her walls down and we stared getting intimate. She was all in with me about to get a place together then she called it off bc I was showing her to much love and commitment. We still worked every day together and was able to put that stuff aside and still be best friends. It killed me but any way I could have her made it worth it. Found out she got her heart broken again by her ex who is a piece of shit and called me at 3am to tell me. We eventually split ways at work and she stopped talking to me, every once and a while she would call out of the blue and stuff she told me one day that the reason she doesn’t give me a chance is bc she is tired of getting hurt. I left town for a few months came back recently. She called me seeing how I was doing and apologized for everything she did to me. The next week I saw her at work and she pretty much ignores me I have a feeling deep down she loved me but I don’t know if that’s just what I want. She is mean and nice to me off and on. Don’t know what to make of it. Please don’t tell me to let it go bc I already tried and it led to me going to rehab. thanks
