Take time to process this emotionally. Journal, figure out what you learned, find the value, how you grow from it. There is wisdom if you can find it. Find the truth, not the lies.

Connect with friends/family/community so you do things you love and not isolated. Exercise and eat right. Watch videos on relationships so you learn how to do this better... learning something means "this was not a waste"..."I go something out of it of value".

Take sufficient time until you feel well again. Then try dating again.

If you need, see a therapist to help process this. Ask lots of GAG questions to help process, but do this to gain freedom from the "lies"... seek the truth.

Go to church, spend time taking in love, learning about love with others. Any group therapy would help, this is a way to accept unconditional love.

Do not run to someone else immediately.

This is something that I have not learned how to do in a healthy way. My first girlfriend dumped me and I was madly in love with her. I felt alone and hurt and I couldn't enjoy anything. In an effort to move on I jumped right into another relationship. I strongly recommend not doing that. It wasn't fair to my next girlfriend.

As for what you should do. I suppose therapy would be helpful if that's an option. Or just take your time to process it.
