Why is my ex boyfriend stalking my FB page under different names?

I broke up with him because he's a liar and a cheater. I've blocked him way back in 2019.

Ever since late May 2023 till recently, he has tried contacting my FB page under different accounts; fake names he created. Then he texted me on one of his fake names saying that he knows I'm single again and that I just broke with my recent boyfriend. He called me under 2 different numbers, which I've blocked.

Why is he doing that recently this year on May all of the sudden? I've blocked each account and number.

yikes. if he doesn't stop bothering you, you can inform the police. it likely won't do much since no threats are happening, but at least they know and have him on file.

in the meantime, do you think he has something to say to you? or he's just bothering you because he's being an ass? i don't understand how someone can go 3-4 years and then all of a sudden start harassing their ex out of nowhere, to the point where they made multiple accounts with different names and numbers. really strange...

you really need to lock down all of your social media accounts. private every thing. i believe facebook has an option where you can limit people who aren't your friends to not add or message you.

When ex’s suddenly pop back up and aggressively I think it’s because either a situation failed with someone else or they’re having trouble finding someone. I’ve noticed they tend to come back around the fall and winter because that’s when many wants a person for the couple-ish holidays like Christmas, nye, Valentine’s Day, etc.

I think that he is still in love with you and probably is thinking about you A LOT if he keeps doing that, I’m sorry you have to go through that, I’m assuming you already made it clear you’re done with him? If so then…. yeah, big red flag. I hope you feel safe and he needs to respect your boundaries!
