Can you reverse divorce proceedings?

This is more a rhetorical question than anything else, since in most civilized countries you can stop divorce proceedings before they are decreed final.

My sister and BIL had initiated proceedings, but now they have "froze" them because they want to try to reconcile. I hope they do reconcile in the end, they have a son who's barely older than my daughter.

They decided to stay together for good, my sister has moved back in with her husband.

When she gave me the good news, I bluntly asked if this is a temporary respite or their crisis is over for good. She told me that while they are still working on some of their problems, they do want to stay together, both for their son and because they still love each other to bits.

In my state, a divorce becomes irreversible 30 days after the final judgment has been entered, unless one of the parties has perpetrated a fraud on the other party.

I don't know; I'm not a lawyer. But even if you could reverse the legal part of it, I doubt that you could reverse the mental and emotional damage done.

My sister.
We don't exactly what happened, they started sleeping separately and she eventually moved to a guesthouse in the residence.
