A dangerous idea or a stupid idea?

Look, vapid pretty girls with nothing to show for themselves other than a makeup kit and the ability to dress themselves to please a man… HAVE AT IT. I’ll roll the red carpet leading to your billionaire “happily every after” life with a guy myself. (You need to give them the red carpet otherwise they get lost going to and from the bathroom….) But mind you, wo any education or skills outside the bedroom, your guy will probably step out on you as you age and expect you to bear it bc what else are you fit to do?

But a girl who has an education already… it’s a waste for you to stand around at home waiting hand and foot on your man like he’s not a grown man who knows how to tend to himself. (Don’t date “boys” who don’t know how to care for themselves. Date MEN who know themselves and know what they want out of life… and out of love.)

Similarly, I sincerely doubt that most guys want a brain-dead chippy who thinks cereal from scratch is a smart idea… That does sound like a rich girl problem…. And a future spoiled brat problem…. But again, media is going to blow everything out of proportion with fake add-ons…

(We complain about processed food but not processed information, which I find so funny and contrary….)

There’s nothing wrong with being traditional in some ways — making a nice home for you and your man, caring for one another, etc. — but LOVE and RESPECT come first in a marriage, not the pocketbook… Marriage isn’t supposed to be about the indentured servitude of one person towards another; it’s not supposed to be about the size of a person’s pocketbook; it’s not supposed to be undertaken with someone who you only like for their physical attributes… oh shallow, stupid people….

So trad wife by herself isn’t causing the mass hysteria leading to stupid marriages and messy divorces. Stupid people who make poor choices and value internet malarkey over real-life, flesh-and-blood people are responsible for that.

being 100% dependable on someone is dangerous. If a man dies or just leaves her, she is with nothing... if he is abusive, she can't even run away because she has nothing and wouldn't find a job that could cover her costs...

so... there is a bare minimum that every woman should do... get an occupation and work for at least a few years to gain experience...

Most people don't understand what a traditional wife actually is, it's not that 1950s upper middle class fantasy like you might see in the series mad men.

The problem with a lot of modern women is that they want a trad husband that takes care of all their financial needs while they are free to work and have a career, his money is their money but her money is her money.

A traditional wife would be a biblical one.

Well that really depends what everyone is looking for is different so… As long as both people are happy what’s right for them maybe isn’t what’s right for you.

But most people don’t at all know how these relationships are supposed to work. It’s a a relationship that many times one person or the other gets the short end of the stick of. It can lead to abuse, controlling, and being used.

In a real traditional relationship both people are in a comfortable place that one parent can stay home. The woman works equally as hard as the man does but unfortunately it attracts narcissists who want a free ride in life. When she finds out that taking care of the house, the kids, as well as her husband is actually work she starts playing the victim as well as her physically and mentally exhausted husband to do it all.

These relationships almost never really work because people think they know what they’re doing when they really don’t. Cheating is another major thing sometimes it’s the man, the woman, or both people. If the man becomes miserable has no real bedroom life and is in a one sided hell hole of a relationship. A lot of times they end up cheating I’m not excusing that and a woman who really does her best can also be cheated on.

A lot of these men are being cheated on as well behind their backs. When they’re at work, on deployment, on trips, and the list goes on. The absolute worst part about it is that these women bring these men in while their kids are at home.

Please I’m not saying these relationships can’t work or they’re wrong. I’m saying be careful because there are women too. Who end up with a man whose controlling, abusive, and all the whole list of things goes on.

I don’t understand how it’s dangerous.
can you make the argument that it’s glorified? Absolutely. But that’s quite honestly for everything.

I think people fail to realize that we tend to focus on the positives when focusing on the future. It isn’t until we actually get into it are we able to see the flaws. That doesn’t mean that something is dangerous, just not for everyone.
