Any advice on ex/first love?

I dated my first love for 1 year and 4 months. Last year we broke up because of him. I didn't want it to end. I've never felt the same w anyone ever. It's just recently he again broke up w someone and I got to know that he said "I was the one" "I actually loved him". and also that he's vulnerable and might talk to me but its been 2 weeks and nothing. At first I was like okay whatever but tbh I still think about him and... I still love him. But a part of me hates him bcs of the reasons behind our breakup. And then there's a part of me who wants him to TExt me. And then I think of how I don't want want any rs as of rn. so u see I don't know what's wrong w me but I jus have feelings for him and i can't help but want him back.

Seems like a lot of mixed feelings if you expressed wanting to try again then the balls in his court if he wants to. But if you ever did try again there is a lot of things you’re going to have to communicate with one another but I really just feel like you need to allow yourself to grieve.

Eventually you will grieve him but you’re going to have to allow yourself to go through the emotions. The sadness and the anger maybe aren’t the most pleasant things to go through but it’s only going to get worse if you keep staying in denial.

I don’t know the reasons behind the breakup but if it was something petty chances are he just wanted a excuse to break up. Some people just loose feelings over time or think they can find someone else so they will find any excuse to break it off. Not saying that’s the case but sometimes it is.

Even if you got into a relationship with him I think it could be toxic because of your mixed emotions as well as sending mixed signals. If you’re getting mixed signals from him he may be playing games but at the same time maybe he also has mixed emotions. A part of him feels one way, another part feels another, and another part of him feels the other.

Every relationship has a reason some only for a season while others last a lifetime. Just know what’s meant to be is meant to be but you can’t force him to be with you again. If he won’t text you or give you any sort of closure you’re going to have to give that to yourself by just allowing yourself to grieve it out until eventually you start feeling attracted to someone else.

I was basically very close to one of his friends cuz we all went to the same school. Now I get comfortable w my friends and send them random goofy vms. So i sent that friend a vm of me meowing and barking w my little cousins. He sent my vm to all his friends including my ex. but before all this, my ex was losing interest in me He said he needed space but clearly he wanted to breakup. so I broke up w him bcs he was disturbing my mental health.

And why would you want him back now? If he brings your mental health down, what's the point of taking such a guy back?

So honestly did you breakup w him cause he was disturbing your mental health as you say or because he was losing interest which meant more than likely he was going to breakup w you? So in order to keep from being rejected you dumped him first. How was he disturbing your mental health?

Yes I broke up w him bcs I knew he was gonna break up any day. About my mental health... as he lost interest, I started to worry more and more bcs i loved him SO much. I had the fear of losing him and that is what happened. We fought and he asked for some space. Now his friends started to tell me my ex wanted to breakup. It was killing me inside. We were on a break but he wanted to breakup so I dumped him before he could dump me. (his ego was hurt lmao).
