How would you react if you mistakenly put your SO's favorite cast iron pan/skillet in the dishwasher and they dumped you/broke up over it?

They make cast iron pans. better now,,- buy her a new one and tell her that you have learned your lesson and will pay more attention to what she says from now on.
Yes, if I had told someone more than a couple of times not to do a certain something and they did it anyway I would be upset but not break up with them.
It's not the end of the world right? 🌎
Good luck 🍀🤞🏼
"They make cast iron pans" Well not really, some brands are better than others, but new cast iron don't quite compare to vintage cast iron (from what I've heard on cast iron forums). Bought set of cast iron skillets at Kmart 10ish years a go and over all they've been pretty great, recently bought a bigger Ozark Trails cast iron skillet, and it was unusable till I did a bunch of sanding and seasoning.
Anyways, I don't have a girlfriend/wife, this question was more for fun and was inspired by someone on another site joking about putting cast iron in the dishwasher (hope I didn't sound rude).
Honestly? I'd think "Well, dodged that bullet." First if you break up over something that trivial.. and that is totally fixable, then someone was just looking for an excuse to breakup. Ofc, the other option is that the person who did it was being a jerk and, if that's a pattern, then the breakup is justified.
But you did say mistakenly.
Breaking up over $30 (it's actually still fixable, by the way) is ridiculous. But, if the person told you a bunch of times not to do something, and you did it anyway, that's grounds for breakup regardless of whether or not your property got damaged or survived unharmed. Respect issue.

Amazon. Here they have boyfriends now too. XD
Well lets clear the air first. It was my cast iron fry pan. And good thing I have no dishwasher besides myself.
