I have one just like this that a girlfriend gave me.

I keep it on the small chest of drawers next to my side of the bed along with my lamp.

She and I lived together for almost two years. I truly loved that girlfriend and she loved me, but we had to separate.

Even though we separated 27 years ago and I have been happily married for 22 years, I still treasure that memento from her.

I don’t keep the personal ones, or ones that has special sentimental value. But the more expensive or useful ones I usually keep. The rest of them I either donate, give away or throw away.
