What did you do with the ring/rings after a broken engagement, divorce or passing of your so?

you can try to sell them online, but who are you dealing with, where are you meeting them, sell them outright, however gold is up so the scrap value is higher, but diamond prices have dropped, and no one will pay above wholesale for them, lad stones have little to no value.
You can keep them as a reminder not to do that again, you can have the stones pulled and sell the gold as scrap.
I think I still have my first wedding ring somewhere as a reminder of why I left, she still has hers and still wears them as she like them.

Donate or sell it or of you are still good then maybe let a goldsmith create anything else. You can melt it and design completely different jewelry.

I still have them, 18 K white gold rings and 5 VVS1 clarity diamonds withe the main diamond a 1/2 carot round cut colourless quality on the engagment ring and same band type with 7 single cut VVS1 carity diamonds on the wedding band.

A lot of people save the ring if their So pass away some people pass it down to their kid when they get married. as far as divorce and break ups most people sell it/ get refund depending on the condition of the ring.
