Anyone else’s engagement/ marriage break off?

Long Story short I flunked my interview with his mom the school teacher, the partners were randomly selected and no we didn’t know each other before hand at least I think not..!

Basically if the conversation went well we’re eloping if it doesn’t then never mind

the interview was via phone text message & phone call and she just kept asking if I had a sister and now they’re getting engaged instead of me and him but it hasn’t happened yet

this marriage was arranged by the school
