Google the divorce rates among straight, gay and lesbian couples. The rate among lesbians is highest, by far, and lowest among gays. In other words, the more women involved, the higher the likelihood a marriage will end in divorce.

The reason? No sense of commitment. Studies show lack of commitment is the #1 reasons for divorce. The reason divorce rates skyrocketed in recent decades is because women are more likely to have the financial means today to survive comfortably without a man to provide for them, and divorce laws haven't changed over time. They favor women, and in fact they incentivize women to divorce more than ever.

In short, today there are fewer negative consequences for women in divorce, and more positive consequences, so their true nature has been allowed to flourish.
