I’m having a really hard time not texting my ex after we broke up. I broke up with him cause he didn’t really have time for me because he’s working with investors and never ever has a break. But when I broke up with him, he kind of let me go and said he doesn’t know when he’ll have more time now I keep finding myself questioning if it was really because he’s working all the time or if it’s because he just didn’t really like me But anyways it’s so hard for me to stop myself from texting him. What do I do?

You stay strong, stay focused and find a distraction. You want to go back, when there’s nothing to go back to. He won’t fight for a relationship that he doesn’t have time for, and you don’t do yourself any favors by trying to lessen the reality of that in your mind. He cannot accommodate a relationship right now, and when you’re having moments where you wanna cave and reach out, remind yourself of that fact. You’ll still be begging for time and energy he can’t give you. Nothing will change. Breakups can be hard — this is part of the process that you cannot skip over and instead have to weather through.
