First breakup hurts more or the second one?

Well, I have never experienced a breakup, and I am happy about that.

But I will give my answer.

Maybe, first breakup often hurts more emotionally because it’s new. People don’t yet know how to cope, so it can feel intense, confusing, and all-consuming.

Second breakup can hurt too, sometimes less, because you’ve already learned coping skills, but it can also hurt more if the relationship was deeper, longer, or more meaningful.

It could be one of them, both, or none. Most break-ups need to happen so they never hurt; you just move on.
