Ex-boyfriend called me a bitch while we were together and now he wants me back what do I do?

So me and my now ex boyfriend were together for about a year and we started off as best friends who could tell each other anything and just talk about anything for hours. We started dating and of coarse as normal couples do we fought but because we were friends first we were always able to sit and talk about it and we wound up making our relationship stronger. Well just this past we were both saying things we didn't mean in texts as usual. His dad and younger brother were around while he was still mad at me and texting me. The dad and brother both hate me and didn't want us together and I'm still not sure why. But while my ex was texting me they were egging my ex on and pushing all their hate for me into my ex's head to the point were he believed what they were saying; that he would be better off without me etc. I got a text from my ex calling me a Bitch; yeah I was mad at him but the minute I saw that text I knew something was up he's never spoke to me like that before no matter how mad he gets his dad and brother really messed with his head. And now my ex is freaking out apologizing. He's so angry at himself for calling me that because I broke up with him. He's asking for forgiveness and says he'll do anything to keep me happy. That and he's sorry he's an idiot who lost the best thing that's ever happened to him and that I'm not a bitch that I'm a wonderful woman. He doesn't care to much about his dad he's a mommas boy but unfortunately his mom past away before I ever met him but I was able to honor his mom's first year of her passing. And I've met most of his mom's side and they say I'm family. I love this guy and want to be with him but I'll be honest I don't know what to do?

My ex's best friend who is like a brother to my ex texted me the other day and we started talking about what's been going on and he said that my ex is an idiot for listening to them. The conversation went on for a few hours but it opened my eyes and my anger went down. He basically said give my ex a chance to make it up to you. I told him even if my ex did make if up he can't take back what he called me and the hurt and pain.

My ex's friend said no he can't but you can give him a chance to make it right. Then he said,"May I make a suggestion?...Let his suffer this week without you and then this weekend go see him a talk to him about it." Even his grandma *his mom's mom* called him a dumbass and told him he really f***ed up and said I have every right to be mad and she's very upset with him. But said since I hate him and want nothing to do with my ex maybe you should move on.. He told her no.

He then told his dad and brother its his life and his relationship and they need to stay out of it if they don't like it tough. I'm actually thinking about taking his friends advice and letting him suffer for the week then go talk to him this weekend but I'm not taking him back he's going to have to earn that back so basically he has to start all over from the friend zone.

Hi, I would advise to stay with him. His father and brother are the family of his, and no matter how close he is to them he listens to what they have to say. but eventually makes his own decisions. I think there are many cases when parents don't like a boyfriend or a girlfriend of their child. Just happens. in my case my mom didn't like much my now ex girlfriend, but said to me to make my own decisions. I kind of was in the same position like your boyfriend, I grew up without a father, and I was very connected with my grandfather, and he was a very close friend for me. when he past away. I was in a bad shape so to speak for about a year when I met my ex, as we were a very good friends an such, but it turned out badly - she cheated on me - wanting to marry with the guy, and coming back to me this year saying that she would like to build a relationship again, but I don't trust here no more. When she broke up with me that way I was in a broken not only because of a cheating but because I was connected with her emotionally.

I began to feel myself happy again with her when I met her and she was kind of an emotional anchor for me like you are for your boyfriend. I would advise you to not to break up with him cause he might feel the same loss again - when his mam past away. Cause I felt myself that way when that girl left. I think that the two of you can work things out, and find out what is the best for you.

Don't take name calling seriously, especially if his family is against you, and he's missing his mom who was apparently really important to him. He's kind of lost withou ther guidance, I'd say.

So put that out of your mind and get back with him, and try to be what his mom can no longer be, an emotional anchor for him.
