The friendzone is when a man has romantic desire towards a woman, and she genuinely likes him... as a friend. It is real, and it is largely something women do to men, because most men do not have the charisma, confidence, that women find so attractive.

The female version would be the fuckzone. It's when a guy is interested in occasionally banging a girl... but not interested in actually dating her or having a relationship.

The Friendzone exists for women too. I seen lots of girls rejected by guys that didn't feel the same way, and I have myself several times.

wait, you say it's not real, but basically listed everything a friend zone would be defined as, as a fact of life? I don't get it. Are you saying narnia is real?

It is needed, and correct. I've wasted all of high school bouncing between girls who never liked me, and I had no chance with. The friend zone is just a cop out for men's failure to attract women. Thank you for preaching the truth

I have seen people first be friends then decide to date and it doesn't work. They are better as friends than in a relationship. It does happen but its not really a bad thing.

Nope, the friend zone definitely exists. It's just when you get rejected but still stay friends. That's all there is to it.

Sometimes girls like to lead guys on, and that's sometimes called the friend zone as well.

I don't agree that you can't do anything with friendzone...

romantic relations that blossom from friendship are more reliable...

Its real, guys just make it sound dreadful as all hell. It simply means you are a friend and she doesn't see you as more and doesn't see that changing. Nobody is obligated to be attracted to you, either move on or throw a temper tantrum.

@far2gud4u untrue. First you say its Narnia, then you admit that its true and give solutions on how to get out of it? Whether its called unrequited love, or whatever, that zone does exist for the person. Its real.

You said it's partly true, and a half truth is the ultimate lie. You say it again, people go through unrequited love. That's friendshipzone. End of story. It's just another name for something that's real. How long a person chooses to stay in the friendship zone is the debatable part.

wow you are one of those annoying people who have to be right all the time huh? For a start look at the girls and what they have commented. It is simply something created by rejects (I can see why you are so passionate about this now because you probably LIVE in the 'friend zone') who sit and lick their wounds and not accept that they are unwanted hoping someone will 'come to their senses'

Girls either say they want to be friends because they are trying to be nice, or because you are being put to one side to be used later. WE DONT NEED MORE FRIENDS! ESPECIALLY ONES WHO LIKE US!!!

What she will most likely do is get to the gym, get herself in shape to meet someone and then you are waving your arms going 'errr hello?' help her if you must but dont do it at your gym so you won't run in to her in future then end it there :) x

Tell her where to get off ! Walked away and never, I repeat never speak to her
ever again, exude confidence almost to the point of being arrogant. Tell her you want more than friendship
and walk away. Women don't like being trumped or being told where to get off. By
doing this, you've taken her control away. With most women it's always about control.
I always said "Your loss Toots ! And never gave them the time of day.

The girls I think are the hardest to deal with are the ones who are lonely and u fill a void but it not what they want as a be. These are the snugglers who will watch a movie n pretty much date u without getting any benefits :-/

The friend zone, is a term describing when the girl is not attracted to a boy in a romantic fashion, but still like him for different reasons.

So it does indeed exist, but is not friend zone like some believe it is.

Right, I didn't take any moral standpoint on this because it depends on her motive for keeps him in her life.

If he was a good friend that simply felt in love with her, then why should she be the one saying we can't be friends any more, if he can't handle it, then he has to call it off, not her, she is not to blame for his feelings.

If however, she only keeps him for selfish reasons (like personal confirmation , attention) then it's bad, so it all depends.

For myself in this experience, I have always ended the friendship on a good note no matter what... This isn't about what he can handle for me, its about knowing i could hurt him and i dont want that... I cannot look at anyone I care for and think I am hurting him... I would explain this to him though and if he still wanted to keep being friends then I would be up for trying if he was 110% sure he would be able to do it...

Appearance is much less important than you believe:

Don't quit school! I know it hurts, but just try to take some time away from her! Try to stay off any social media you have her on or even temporarily deactivate it. This will prevent you from seeing anything that could hurt you and allow you to think about other girls.

And its okay if you want to end the friendship, but don't be mean about it. If she asks just tell her you've been busy (or the even truth if you're comfortable with it). Do what you gotta do to heal bro, just don't do anything you'll need to apologize for later

Good luck and I hope you feel better man!
