When your friends want you to date more than you do

"Sooo have you met anyone?" "Any dates this week?" "I want to set you up on a blind date!" "You should download tinder" "You need a man in your life". NO I DON'T! "But I just want you to be happy" I am happy. Why couldn't a single person be happy?? You shouldn't expect your partner to make you happy you need to make yourself happy and after that maybe the other person can be content with you too.

In fact I often feel like my friends in serious relationships want to live the dating life they don't have anymore through me. Finding someone I Iove would be amazing but I feel no pressure to get myself involved with just anyone. I have never had a boyfriend nor have I had sex but these are not conscious choices I've made that's just how it has been. I don't trust people easy and it takes a lot to get close to me. Not many people are willing to make the effort but one day when someone will I'll know he truly cares.

Some of my friends just want to share that part of their lives. The relationship part. I think they're just waiting for me to be in one so they can talk about how annoying boyfriends can be.

This is just another reason why having friends is a bad idea.
