I would say more than 15 years older.

It's not a fixed thing. There is this meme that goes like this: Half the older person's age plus 7 years is ok for the younger person to be. 30 and 22, 40 and 27, 60 and 37, etc. 65 and 18, HELL no! Of course in the entertainment business someone like Pierce Brosnan (James Bond) could break this rule and get away with it. If you (yourself) were 24 and she was 18, that might seem too much, but ten years later nobody's gonna say a thing about 34 and 28. Mind you, some people will object to silly differences like 22 and 21.

"Half the older person's age plus 7" rule says not quite. 36/2=18+7=25, so two years short. Don't be too worried if the match is great, but expect flak from the world.
