My thoughts exactly. While I'm 6, I still laugh at requirements like that. It's true most men prefer shorter women, but those who think that it applies to every man must've seen the Hobbit Tauriel/Kili romance too many times :D
Show me where I am shaming or “putting down” short men?
These are MY preferences, what I find attractive. If I find a man with all the other qualities I am looking for and he happens to be “short” or average, I’m not going to deny him just because of that. As I mentioned, I just find SUPER tall people attractive.
I never shamed or put down short men so don’t put words into my mouth.
And for your information I’ve dated a guy who was 5’6.
Anyway, thanks for reading mytake.
When every post says " I want a tall guy!" I can't help but think it's to shame shorter men. I understood by the time I was 9 I would never be as attractive because of my dads height ( my future height too). but jeez you girls are viscous on standards, don't you understand looks fad? How would you feel if your future husband divorced you, because you weren't young and pretty anymore? shitty right? Well, that's how some short men feel our entire lives.
A lot of women have those or similar as standards.
Hence why I put the question mark after weird because I don’t know what are the standards for all the women. And if you read some of the comments, some people find them weird. Thanks for reading mytake.
