So as promised I'm making a myTake about 5 ways my first real date went well! Here goes!
1) Chivalry isn't dead?

When I picked her up her family was waiting outside because they wanted to see me first (I guess to make sure I wasn't thugnificent). When I came up the stairs they were all like, "wow he is a gentlemen!" And they let her come outside finally. During the date she told me about how I was the first guy to not cat call her and ask her out respectfully, and actually pay for her food any everything! (Jesus Christ π¨).
2) So I guess I impressed her family?
When I brought her back home they seemed kinda pissed that it was midnight but she thanked me and said she would see me at work. I said bye and got out of there. Unfortunately though during the date she told me that when I sent her a picture of myself her family took her phone because they wanted to know who I was and they all thought I was gay π.

3) We had a great conversation though!
She asked me why I asked her out and what made me like her. I asked her about her goals and dreams and whatnot. We talked about work, school, music, movies. It was cool. Now next date I have to find out what she really thinks of me. Somehow we got talking about kissing (remember I have no experience so I told her I wasn't big kisser so I could avoid fucking that up). She told me she had kissed some guys before so that was kinda a bummer because that means she must have more experience than me (i mean she is older than me π).

4) Asked some good questions apparently?
I asked her what she thought of me getting facial hair (she hated that idea). I jokingly told her I was kinda cold, dark and mysterious π. She laughed and told me I was lying because I'm not like that at all, especially around my guy friends at work. I'm still kinda upset that I'm not a super masculine man but hopefully I get there.

5) I secured a second date!
after dinner while we were waiting to leave I told her that I intended to ask her out later but I didn't want to do it in front of my sister or her family and she was perfectly okay with that. I asked her if she wanted to go out with me again and she said yes and I told her next time it would be thought out better (the waiter kinda rushed us because it was closing time and we only had 1 hour to sit down and eat). She didn't really care though and she really liked her food (good, it cost me everything...literally). I won't be able to take her out this week because my check is low and I'm trying to get my own car but at least I have time to work out my anxiety and nervousness and find something else for us to do in this boring ass neighborhood.
