I don't think the Japanese go extinct there are a lot of half Japanese if they have babies then the Japanese DNA will carry on.
A mix with no replenishment will be wiped out eventually.

Globally, overpopulation is still a vastly greater concern than human extinction, and something that needs action. There are nearly 8 billion people. Somehow human society managed to survive with fewer than 2 billion for almost all of human history.
