I do computer programming. I always recommend people to stop trying to date online, and to try in real life.

Here's why: dating apps know perfectly what would your ideal partner be.

When you use them they analyze what kind of people you really like, and after a while they could find your perfect match.

If that is what they wanted to.

But dating apps don't want that. Instead the algorithm is optimized for keeping you interested, but never satisfied.

So the problem isn't how sexy you are, what your texting skills are, or that the world of dating got worse.

It's simpler: the world is the same as always. It's just that you are playing a game that you are damned to lose.

I always say that you need to realize that other people on dating apps are damaged or unable to get a SO, just like you are. So even someone who looks great on an app isn't as great as they may look.

I can't date mainstream men so. Have to date men with a learning disability. For mums making up for dating and can't even move out for house prices already going up. Most of them seem immature, the older the learning disability. I already try lots of groups but still find immature men there and also found men with girlfriends that I already met off youth clubs in a different town. I would prefer shy man over any other men.

on a more serious not.. yeah the algorithms are not there to help you find love (I really do not think they can do that anyway, especially with the limited information on most dating sites), but that does not mean you cannot find it online. I know several who did.

If you actually compare numbers with the real world you have to count every encounter you have (let's say a few minutes looking at the person is similar to how many use tinder from mainly images). If you then calculate a 'succesrate' when you find a partner it is probably very comparable, if not lower :D

I heard it on a video, and it makes perfect sense. Even if I can't prove it.

Because that would explain why I never had matches there and, for example, girls get quite interested in me in any other place, including online.
