1. Woman with No Shared Hobby

To me, shared hobbies matter more than whether she has her finances in order & has her shit together. If she doesn’t enjoy watching anime clips on YouTube, I don’t see that woman as girlfriend material.

2. Woman Who’s Tardy

I will never date a tardy woman because it shows she doesn’t value my time. A woman who shows up late also indicates incompatible value. Therefore, I can only date a woman who will show up on time & values punctuality.

3. Woman Who Suddenly or Changes Plans at the Last Minute

I don’t see a woman who suddenly or changes plans at the last minute as girlfriend material because I consider it rude & irresponsible. Hence, I am willing to severely limit my dating options to find a woman who doesn’t suddenly or changes plans at the last minute.

Last Minute Change = Source of My Anger

4. Woman Who Loves Going Out

I don’t see a woman who enjoys going out to listen to live bands & watching sports games at a stadium as girlfriend material. I don’t see that woman as girlfriend material because it doesn’t mesh well with my lifestyle. Hence, I am willing to dismiss potential matches to find a woman who mesh well with my lifestyle.

5. Woman who Doesn’t Listen to Pop-Punk or Alternative Rock

I can’t date a woman who doesn’t listen to pop-punk or alternative rock because it indicates there’s nothing in common with her. Therefore, I can only date a woman who listens to poop-punk or alternative rock.

6. Woman who Loves to Travel

I can never date a woman who loves to travel because it’s incompatible with my goal of finding happiness in everyday life. Thus, I can only date a woman who doesn’t like traveling.

7. Woman with Tattoo(s) & Piercing(s)

I don’t care if she’s mature. I don’t see a woman who has tattoo(s) & piercing(s) as girlfriend material because I consider it distasteful. Therefore, I can only date a woman who doesn’t have tattoos.

I agree with a lot of these. I can’t stand entitled people and I could never date one.

Especially women who want me on time but show up late. They’re not showing any effort in me. So they’re just not worth my time.

No shared interests. As a person nothing wrong with her. But I agree…. Nothing really to bond over. Maybe I could try if it she was amazing. But mostly I need someone whose a best friend to me.

Looks to me like you're seriously limiting yourself to finding a woman that might be very good for you. For example, if she doesn't like Pop-Punk or Alternative Rock music, you still do... why can't she have her favorite music? You know, in any good relationship, there are times you are together... and times you are apart. Similarly, there are times you agree... and times you don't.

One thing with me is rudeness to people in public or rudeness to people who work in stores or restaurants. There is a lady who I sometimes hang out with and she is educated and interesting to talk to, but she talks down to people and I don't like that. I'll sometimes hang out with her but I'm not interested in dating.

The other thing is if they don't allow you to resolve minor disagreements. One lady who I used to know brought up something from 6 months prior as if it happened yesterday. She would never accept my explanation. Another lady who I used to know brought up something from TEN YEARS prior that was a minor misunderstanding. Weird.

The music one made me laugh. I never saw that as a dealbreaker, most of the guys I’ve dated had different music tastes than I did but it introduced me to music I wouldn’t have listened to otherwise. That said I do disagree with a lot of yours but we all look for different things and have our own don’ts 🙂

One of the things I've learned over the 44 years of marriage that I have is opposite attracts opposition. We totally love each other even though we have different hobbies different ideas different musics. We do have things in common. We have similar faith in God we worship together we go out together and we travel together if our health permits. Yes we also tolerate each other's idiosyncrasies, our kinks.

because socializing allows someone to practice their social skills which makes them more likely to be charismatic. going on new adventures also gives people more topics to talk about. I have been a hermit when I was younger but now im going all sorts of places. I can easily say life is better seeing new things and meeting new people.
