How can making out in a car fog up windows?

I was making out with my boyfriend in the car this morning at like 1 am and it was because we were lost. the windows fogged up. I heard someone in the past say "oh yeah I made out with so and so and it fogged up the windows" I thought, " you are such a bull sh! tter". well it happened. how does making out make the car windows fog up so much? thanks in advance
