Guys, Can girls buy guys promise rings? If so then how far into the relationship should I wait to buy one?

I said we've only been together for 2.5 months. I guess I should have been more specific, my bad. We knew that we liked each other 5 months before he asked me out, and we liked each other for a long time before we knew.
