How can I overcome or even embrace my dad vibe while trying to find a girlfriend?

To be clear, I am 23 and not a dad. However my general vibe because of my mannerisms, look, and speaking style, comes across as very mature. I could easily pass for someone several years my senior. I want to be found attractive, but I am not sure if the dad vibe I give off is unattractive.

As proof of my dad vib, during a public speaking class a girl first mentioned that I spoke like a professor would but changed it to father, and even started calling me "Father" as a joke (she was taken at the time).

I know there is a time to give off a dad vibe, but is there a way to do that in the dating pool, or is it something I need to work off? If so, how?
