Is it superficial to reject a guy because he is a smoker and doesn't look good?

No. I have asthma. I can't be around smokers and just the smell of smoke can cause me to have bad asthma so it's a good enough reason to not date a smoker. It is becoming less socially acceptable to be a smoker now seeing as everyone is aware of the harm they cause.
If a guy doesn't look good to you, then that's just your preference. He may not be your type and you can't help that.

Rejecting someone solely because he smokes makes you judgmental, but if you rejected him because you didn't like his habit of smoking, then it is fine.

And if you rejected him because he looks ugly, then it can't be helped. He might change his habits, but his looks...
