I'd say 4'11 to 6'1 for women and 6'0 to 6'6 for men. (Sure to trigger someone I bet)

I'm 5' 7", but pretty much open to dating women any height.
I don't worry too much about the ones who claim to want taller than me. I've talked to a few that admit that if a guy was really nice and cute and into them they would probably date him regardless of their height preferences.
It's really just a shallow ideal they have that melts away if a man with other really great qualities comes along.

I find it hard to believe that I am the average height of a man in the Netherlands. I thought all men in the Netherlands have giant's blood coursing through their veins and look like they could be comfortable - at least height-wise - in any team in the NBA. I would have thought that there was no such thing as a Dutch man under 6'.

I must go there one day to see for myself.

I‘m tall & live in the Netherlands so I’m probably biased but I find tall, slender people just so beautiful and generally more elegant in motion, so I’ll go with 170cm+ as ideal for women and 185cm+ for men. I guess the threshold could be set at around 200cm for both, like that would probably start to be too tall even for me 🤔 I’m 177cm myself for reference.

I guess what's ideal depends on the person. In my opinion I find nice girls between 160 and 170 cm and boys between 175 and 185 cm. I tend to feel comfortable with which I find average in what surrounds me. I think many people would find my heights shorts and would fin ideal taller people. I don't really understand that fixation with beign tall.

Well, if it comes to dating i would like my men to be at least 10cm taller than me, so at least 177cm. Ideally would be 185cm, but anything above 180 is fine. 195 plus would be too tall for me.
Other than that i don't think there is a specific height anyone should have as i don't care about otger people's height except when dating.

Im only 5’4” so my ideal height on guys would be someone at least 4 inches taller than me (5’8”), but not taller than 6 feet.

My younger brother’s pretty tall and i wouldn't want my man to be shorter than him. They could be at least on the same height on for him to be a little taller.
