I have 2 sisters. Needless to say, I've been in many women's bathrooms with mom or sisters growing up... and since my birth Saturday July 2, 1977... I have never, EVER, seen a urinal for peeing standing up in women's restrooms.
The closest thing to what you describe is:
In the late 70s, early 80s, my older sister and a female cousin had a natural curiousity about how us boys, meaning me and a male cousin, peed standing up. I saw them both try to piss on a tree and a few bushes... the results were laughable... they only managed to piss down their own legs.
I saw my ex attempt it once in the shower... similar results.
I graduated in 2014 and the school was built in the 60s. The girls bathrooms were built with urinals. They just took them out a few years ago because people stopped using them, but decades ago it was normal for girls bathrooms to have urinals.

Now, a bidet on the other hand, looks most similar to a urinal... it shoots water jets to rinse everything off down below after you finish on the toilet. Bidets were quite popular and very fashionable in the 60s.

My high school was also built in the late 60s. My mom went there as well. There was 4 toilets, and 1 bidet in the girls locker room. I know this because I did plenty of janitorial duty in there during Saturday School... when they werent making us pick up the used condoms in the student parking lot.
