Do you let them know when you've experienced street harrasment from a guy? I hate dealing with it and it makes me sooooo mad when it happens. I sometimes feel like telling my boyfriend when it happens because I'm so upset but I don't want to be a bother especially since there's nothing he can do since it already happened. It happened with 3 different guys tonight like a few seconds apart.

Cat calling isn't "harassment" for fuck sake. You are not a victim. Oh no, it's soooo horrible that the opposite sex finds you attractive, how ever will you get through life! (I am pretty sure the body paint clothing which is common among most females has something to do with it. but I digress.
Unless some asshat sneaks up behind you and says something like "I wanna smell your asshole" you are not being harassed.

The way you think is seriously disgusting. You will never know what it's like to be a female and have to deal with disgusting men who are old enough to be your damn father say shit to you. I didn't even explain in detail what happened last night but you have the nerve to tell me it wasn't harrassment? Fuck you. These guys were very close behind me saying shit they shouldn't be saying to a female, especially one much younger and at night. I first got HARRASSED in public when I was 9 years old by a much older. Man. Until you've walked in women's shoes and know what it's like to be catcalled, deal with street harrassment, followed home, groped and feel fucking unsafe, keep your mouth shut and educate your ignorant self.

I don't need to know what it's like to be to female. Men are NOT disgusting. Your paranoia and sexist mentality doesn't make that true no matter how much you want to play victim. If a female is dressed like a whore, then she will likely be seen as a whore. Male biology is not "wrong" because you don't like it. I've said it in previous relationships, whenever I was upset. Like it's an explanation why I'd be moody (same as periods, biking through rain) :) Basically nothing you can do about, but ventilating helps.
Usually a married girl goes out with her husband and no one will catcall her cause she's with her man and she feels comfortable and happy because no one is bothering her while she's with her man
It's offensive, because there's no respect. Catcalling is always superficial and can make us feel unsafe (Eg when a man says what he want's to do with us).
