What does it usually mean if an ex-fling comes back into your life and starts asking about your love life?

It's likely that the ex-fling is looking to become an ex ex-fling and start things up again. Usually its easier for them to ask about whether you are seeing anyone or not and then work from there, than to just say: "Hi, long time to speak... let me see them titties again." Lol.

Another possibility is, is that they had/have a crush on you, and were too afraid to say something about it when u were hooking up before, but after some time, they realized that they want to be more than just a fling and might want a relationship, but don't want to come out and say it, so they start off by making some small talk, first seeing if you're currently in a relationship or not, and then trying to take things from there.

If you are in a relationship, then that would pretty much close off the possibility of a relationship, but if you aren't, then they could try to figure out their next move.

A third possibility is that they are just trying to rekindle the friendship, just as friends, and this may be one way that they thought of to start the conversation, but I don't know.

It depends on what else they ask and stuff like that. Please keep us posted.

In each of my cases it was because we actually liked each, but just got sidetracked in our careers or moved etc.. It was always the kind of thing where there was both chemistry and friendship.

Then he started texting me daily untill i ignored his text one day. Then texted me goodmorning bright and early. Then the next day i just ignored his text. Been a month since he reached out. He never tried again. i dont know what to do...

The answers to these questions really would have to be gotten from him, but whether it's worth the effort of pulling the specifics out of him. If it bothers you enough you could send a message that said, "Look I don't want to be rude but I just don't understand why you want to talk suddenly after all this time.". Make him explain and if the reasons don't make sense tell him as much.
